The 2024 Grand National will take place at Aintree on Saturday 13 April at an earlier time of 1600 BST. The world's most famous steeplechase will be shown live on ITV, with coverage starting at 1.30pm. A total of 40 horses will take on the gruelling 4m 5f course, with WEB Corach Rambler the favourite to retain his crown. The nine-year-old is one of only three horses to have won the Grand National back-to-back since Red Rum in the 1970s. His trainer Gordon Elliott is also looking to make history by becoming the first trainer to win three consecutive Grand Nationals. Other leading contenders include Delta Work, Noble Yeats and Any Second Now.
