BlackBerry Passport: Features and Release Plans

BlackBerry has announced plans to release the Passport smartphone in over 30 countries by the end of 2014. Features of the BlackBerry Passport include:

Camera
The BlackBerry Passport features a 13 MP primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), autofocus, and a BSI sensor. The front-facing camera has a resolution of 2 MP.
Display
The Passport's 4.5-inch display has a square aspect ratio and a resolution of 1440 x 1440 pixels. It uses a capacitive touch technology and has a pixel density of 453 PPI.
Battery
The Passport has a 3450 mAh battery that provides up to 30 hours of talk time and up to 18 days of standby time.
Storage and Memory
The Passport comes with 32 GB of internal storage and 3 GB of RAM. It also supports expandable storage via a microSD card slot.
Release and Pricing
The BlackBerry Passport is expected to be released in over 30 countries by the end of 2014. Pricing for the unlocked model is set at 249.59.
