I Dont Care About The Past Hansi Flick Not Interested In Barcelonas Poor Recent Form In Europe

“I don’t care about the past” – Hansi Flick not interested in Barcelona’s poor recent form in Europe

Flick’s Bayern Munich side have never won at Camp Nou

Barcelona face Bayern Munich at the Camp Nou on Wednesday knowing that defeat could see the send them crashing out of the Champions League at the group stage for the first time since 2000.

Xavi’s side have endured a poor start to the season and have won just one of their opening four Champions League games.

However, Bayern Munich head coach Hansi Flick is not interested in discussing Barcelona’s recent poor form and says the only thing that matters is what happens on the pitch on Wednesday.

Flick refuses to be fooled by Barcelona’s recent form

“I don’t care about the past,” Flick said at his pre-match press conference.

"The only thing that matters is what happens tomorrow. We know that Barcelona are a great team with great players, but they have not been in good form lately.

"But that does not mean that they are not a threat. We need to be at our best to get a result tomorrow.”

Flick’s Bayern Munich side have never won at Camp Nou, but they will be confident of victory on Wednesday.

The German champions have won their last four games in all competitions and are in excellent form.

Barcelona, on the other hand, have won just one of their last five games and are struggling for confidence.

If Bayern can win at Camp Nou, they will take a big step towards qualifying for the knockout stages of the Champions League.

However, if Barcelona can pull off a victory, they will give themselves a lifeline in the competition.
